Ever wonder what it's like to be a farm boy and tip cows? This is a cheezy, but rather popular, computer game where you are supposed to tip the fleeing cattle.
Project Description
In cow tipper you are a hill billy that tips cows for fun. Now most "cow tippers" tip sleeping cows but a computer game where you tip cows that aren't moving sounds pretty boring so these cows are running. You have to click on the cow to tip it before it runs across the screen. If the cow reaches the other side you lose the game. The faster you tip the cows the more points you get.
I started Cow Tipper a few years ago and wrote it in Python using the pySDL toolkit that was quite new at the time. Somehow Cow Tipper gained astonishing popularity and on several occasions crippled my server with the traffic. Unfortunately pySDL changed to pyGame and the Cow Tipper sound no longer works.
This is a remake of the original Cow Tipper to run with the new pyGame library. It's essentially the same game but modernized somewhat.
For windows users download the .exe file. It's a standard installer that installs everything you need to run the game. Unix users just download the source and make sure you have all the required libraries.
